Biodiversity Net gain

The aim of Biodiversity Net Gain is to improve the biodiversity across a site through a process of improving lower quality habitats and limiting loss of irreplaceable habitats. In England, a 10% biodiversity net gain must be delivered for eligible habitats under the Environment Act 2021.
